Second Blog-

I will say first that the textbooks helped me get my thoughts more organized. When I started thinking about what to write about, it was hard to get everything organized to one formal path. One thing I have noticed through this process is that I am not very good at coming up with good thesis statements, or at least I don't think so anyway. The outline made it easier to come up with those because of how I wanted to write my essay. With that being said, after some additional research my essay turned out to be different than the actual outline. I am however, thinking that even as I followed the Martin's book for my sources that I get the feeling that it might not be correct. I did enjoy this process more than I thought I would and was glad I had a guideline to be able to refer to often.

As for the tattoo would I or wouldn't I get one...that is easy for me because I have seven. Most of them are hidden and can only be seen if I wear selected clothing. All of them mean something to me  from memories to plain out rebellion, either way they have a meaning behind each and everyone of them. I do regret only one and its not because of what it is, such as a name but of where it is located. I do think that people look at me differently if they can see it and there is a good chance that down the road it could affect a job opportunity.

  1. Hey Tracy, I agree with most of what you said, especially with the sources.. I found that trying to get the right information for each web source was a pain so they turned out not looking right. That said, I like how you said your tattoos remind of you of memories or "plain out rebellion", that's the first time I've ever heard that.. maybe its because everyone I know that has tattoos is usually 20-21 and hasn't had the life experience to be able to look back and see it that way. that's awesome. as for job opportunities down the road, there's no job right for you if they won't hire you for the way you are at the moment... think about that one. haha and nice layout.. easy on the eyes. :)

  3. Thanks so much for always following directions, Tracy! I love that you are honest about being confused about sources/ MLA. If the textbook is ever confusing, please ASK ME and utilize OWL Purdue's MLA resources, as well. I'm also glad you are actually enjoying the process. I feel like a 90 year old lady...but is there anyway you could keep the font you used for this post? The first one and the next one are harder to read with that very scriptive text.

Thank you gentlemen for both interacting on Ms. Carr's blog, as well! :)
